Step 1: Base layer of charcoal, lots of sketching in vine charcoal and erasing
Step 2:
-Pull out lights and darks in faces, clothes, body, etc.
Step 3: Work really hard to get likeness in each person. This comes from every single detail of their face, if you miss one, it’ll seem off.
Step 4: Once you’re somewhat happy with the face, time for the background
Step 5: After a lot of analyzing, problem solving, tweaks, erasing and drawing. You’ll have a piece your happy with. Once you’re happy with it it goes to its new home ✨
